If you are a first time bike owner you probably didn’t understand the deep love you’d have your bike. Although, undoubtedly it was love at first sight, it wasn’t quite apparent to you just how much you cared. It wasn’t even the moment you first straddled your bike that you truly comprehended the shear awe you’d have for your bike. Not until you rode it around the block for the first time did you realize just how important the piece of machinery that is between your legs is to you. It wasn’t until then that it became clear to you that you had found your first true love. And from that moment on you vowed to protect and care for your bike like you have never protected or cared for anything else in your entire life. As soon as you got home from your first 500 mile road trip, you came home, you cleaned your bike, and you immediately went online to look at motorcycle covers.
You also realized right then you were never going to separate from your bike for more time that was necessary, and daydreamed about taking trips with just you and your bike. Knowing that you are going to do everything but shower and sleep on your bike you also decide you are going to need some motorcycle saddlebags for your bike. You want to make your adventures as easy as possible, and let’s face it, the prospect of having to ride with a heavy back pack on doesn’t sound too fun. In your search for quality, yet affordable gear for your bike, you should take a moment and visit leatherup.com. At leatherup.com you will find all the stuff you need to fill your saddlebags. For long trips it is always wise to bring along rain gear, and of course extra clothing. If you pack right, you can be on the road for days at a time with not a care in the world except for where you going to stop to use the restroom.
Of course now that you’ve found all the gear for road trips, you may find it wise to have a tank bag so you have convenient and easy access to things you use most often for when you are just heading to work or out for an afternoon ride. Tank bags come in handy when you don’t want your pockets encumbered with little things that jab your legs.
Hi, I am Tegan Dawn, and as a motorcycle enthusiast myself, I make sure my bike is always taken care of. Motorcycle covers add great protection from the outside elements if you don’t have the luxury of a garage. When I ride, I like to be free of anything that feels like it will slow me down, so I have different tank Bags for my different trips; smaller ones for my in town excursions and a larger one for when I go on a ride and pack my lunch.

motorcycle tank bag question by Miki the Malamute: I really need advice. BAD! Please help?
I live in a house with my boyfriend and another roommate. My boyfriend and I have our own dog to take care of. Our roommate has a little dog of his own also. This is where it gets messy. He does not devote ANY time to the dog. He always leaves and doesn’t come back for hours and sometimes a night or two. He expects us to take his dog out along with ours when he is not here. Of course I do it, but he has never ASKED me to do it. He assumes we will and sadly he is right. I can’t just NOT take the dog out but I feel like it isn’t my responsibility to take him out, play with him, feed him, clean up his poop when he poops on the floor EVERYDAY. I am just tired of it. I have my own life, my own dog. I am just tired of the dog using the bathroom in the house everyday when he goes out pretty much hourly. I don’t know what to do. He doesn’t want him to be crate trained “again” because he feels like he is too old for it. But he’s only about 10 or 11 months, I feel like he needs it again. I actually have no idea what to do. Another thing is he doesn’t own a car, he owns a motorcycle. He says if he ever leaves he can put his dog in his tank bag (the dog is a Chihuahua) and it will be okay. So my boyfriend and I lent him our car so he won’t have to do that. I wish I was joking about all of this. Especially the motorcycle thing. I know that is unsafe and would probably blow the dogs ears out.
So basically..
What do I do? Do I tell this guy that he needs to be here more often to take care of his dog or give the dog back to his mother until our lease is up? I normally wouldn’t mind watching someones animal if it was not every week. Especially when he doesn’t even ask us to, just expects it.
Sorry Y!A people, I know it’s a long rant. I am just at my wits end. Dogs are a huge responsibility even if the dog itself is tiny.
Thanks. ![]()
Gosh, thank you all so much for the advice so far guys. I really appreciate it. A lot. It’s just getting super old. His excuse for staying out 3-4 times a week and not coming home the next day is..
“I have class early in the morning..”
So instead of staying here he stays at his girlfriends apartment across town since it’s closer to campus. I took his dog out so many times today and I still found poop in the laundry room. GRRRR! The law does indeed need to be slapped around here. I am too nice.
Lately when the dog has pooped inside I leave it there with a note next to it.
“Here is a present! Love, Bentley.”
That’s his dogs name, lol. But even he does that wrong! He picks it up but doesn’t scrub the area so there are little poop stains around. I usually find em and hit them with the Resolve. How can someone clean poop wrong!!? >_

I’d tell…..
They come in various different shapes and dimensions, and can be mounted in several places on your bike. When you take a trip, or ride on a motorcycle, you're faced with some choices. precisely how much gear do you bring with you that you think you will need later on...

Good Product and holds tank tight.,
This bag stays on tight with no windshield on. I cant use the upper magnet on my Royal Star but the other three are holding it well. This bag is way to long for the wife’s Vstar 650. I like that it has a shoulder strap so I can carry it with me while I park.
