Not shiny fancy but made to do what you need it to do. It measures 5 inches from top to bottom. That gives you more than most and it does make a difference. The straps that buckle are at least 1/8 inch thick. It is 10 inches wide on the inside, giving you some nice side to side room. No patchwork here.
